Heartland Pet Welfare, Inc depends on monetary and item donations to continue our work providing a safe and healthy environment for homeless cats until they find their new home and family. Donations to our shelter are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
How can I help?
Item Donations: We are always in need of basic, everyday items such as paper towels, bleach, detergent, heavy duty garbage bags, and dryer sheets. A couple cat items we could always us are scoopable litter and canned cat food. Other items on our wish list include flea treatment products for cats and postage stamps.
Monetary Donations - by mail, in person, or online
By Mail: Donations may be sent to us through the mail. Write a check or money order to "Heartland Pet Welfare, Inc" and note on the memo line "Donation". Please also include your name, address, and phone number so we can contact you if we need to. We will send you an acknowledgment in the mail upon request for tax purposes.

In Person: Donations may be given to our shelter when volunteers are attending to the animals. You can meet our volunteers and the kitties that you're helping. You will receive a receipt for your donation and make many new furry friends.
Online: Make a donation through PayPal, it's fast and secure and no account is required. You can make a donation with your PayPal account or make a donation through PayPal (no account) with your credit card. You will receive an email receipt for your donation.
